I usually pick one lip family and one eye intensity for the whole group, then adjust the exact shades to skin tone so everyone still looks like themselves, just polished to the same standard. Soft, long-wearing glam works especially well for this because it flatters more skin tones at once than a single bold look applied the same way to everyone.
